UPDATES FOR JUNE 23-25, 2021
1) Summer Reading Program - FREE EVENT!!
Our amazing public library is running the Summer Reading Program again this year! And this year our librarians are excited to welcome back Rhys Thomas for Summer Reading! Bring a seat, a snack, water--to Amity City Park Tuesday--and enjoy! (Please keep a 6-ft distance). Tuesday June 29th, 2021. 3:30PM - 4:15PM. Open to all, free for all!
2) National Weather Service Heat Advisory!
June 25th - June 28th in the Willamette Valley. Temperatures between 95 - 111 degrees expected. Please ensure you take precautions to stay cool. Not only for yourself, but also for your pets!

4) CITY COUNCIL VACANCY
The City of Amity is currently accepting applications for a City Councilor. Eligible applicants will be presented to Council for a vote at the next available Council meeting after the application is received and vetted. Eligible applicants will be notified of their meeting with Council and must be present in person at City Hall during the meeting to be interviewed.
1) Of legal voting age and registered to vote in Oregon.
2) A continuous resident inside Amity City Limits for at least 1-year immediately preceding the date of appointment.
Also, applicants must reside in Amity City Limits during their tenure. Applicants may be subject to background checks.
This position is open until filled.
