The City of Amity contracts with the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) for all law enforcement and police services within Amity. The YCSO's mission is to provide citizens with high quality law enforcement services, in an ethical and fiscally responsible manner. The City of Amity is assigned two deputies who work opposing shifts and are augmented by roving patrol deputies.  As of June 2021, Amity's deputies are Deputy Summers and Deputy Rodriguez.
