The purpose of the Budget Committee is to:

Hear the budget message

Hear & consider public comment

Discuss and revise the budget as needed

Approve the budget

Approve each tax rate or dollar levy amount
The Budget Committee generally meets one evening each week through the month of May to develop a budget recommendation for the coming year. Being on the Budget Committee is a great opportunity to contribute your ideas on how your tax dollars are spent.
You must reside within the city limits and be a registered voter.
